In my opinion, people should walk or at the most bike everywhere. Cars and all means of motorized transportation should be eliminated. Only wind or people powered vehicles exist.
Having to walk to work, to get food and everything we do, we would be fit and we would be socially dependent. Our society would structure in a way we would feed from our surroundings.
In this society we would forget about eating bananas. Bananas grow in Ecuador and if somebody would walk the bananas from Ecuador to here they would be beyond ripe.
Families would be close together, they would have to depend in each other. Our society would be still complicated any in a different way.
We would not have TV either, can you imagine a complicated life without TV or cell phones?
